Sea of Thieves

Sea of Thieves is a smash-hit pirate adventure game, offering the quintessential pirate experience of plundering lost treasures, navigating intense sea battles, vanquishing sea monsters, exploring sunken kingdoms, raiding forts and more. In a world that’s rich with stories, quests and eccentric characters, you’re free to use any tool at your disposal to live the pirate life however you see fit.

A Vast Open World
Explore a vast open world filled with unspoiled islands and underwater kingdoms. Take on quests to hunt for lost loot, forge a reputation with the Trading Companies and battle foes from Phantoms and Ocean Crawlers to Megalodons and the mighty Kraken. Try your hand at fishing, make maps to your own buried treasure or choose from hundreds of other optional goals and side-quests!

Set sail alone or with just your friends and explore the waves at your leisure on Safer Seas, or opt to journey on the shared world of High Seas for richer rewards and the chance of encounters with other pirate crews, each on journeys of their own – but will they be friend or foe, and how will you respond?

Choose your Challenges
Whether you’re seeking a short journey or an epic expedition across the map, there are Voyages of all kinds waiting to be chosen from your ship’s Quest Table before diving straight into the heart of the action in search of gold and glory – or you can simply pick a spot on the horizon, weigh anchor and let the winds carry you into adventure. Guide your unique pirate on a path to Pirate Legend and beyond by building your reputation with factions and Trading Companies, earning Distinctions, buying a ship to sail as its Captain and inviting others to form your own pirate Guild, cementing your notoriety on the seas.

Express Yourself
Your success will reward you with thousands of ways to transform and accessorise your pirate and their vessel. Clothing and costumes, scars, tattoos, and even curses can radically alter your appearance, while sails, figureheads, furnishings and trinkets will do the same for your ship. Your choice of shanties, weapons, pets and emotes will show the world around you the kind of pirate you’ve become.
