Nyghtmare: The Ninth King

Centuries after vanishing without a trace, the Kingdom of Mortemire suddenly reappears.

Alongside it awakens Aryn, a young woman strangely unaffected by the mysterious call surrounding the kingdom. Armed with only an iron whip, she ventures into its decaying streets in search of answers, facing the creatures and dangers that have taken hold of the land.

Nyghtmare: The Ninth King is a dark-fantasy retro "Vania" experience. Fight your way through carefully placed enemies, treacherous jumps, hidden routes, and deadly encounters as you explore Mortemire and meet the few souls still wandering its roads.

Choose between two playable characters, each with their own campaign and ending. Discover branching paths, face different final bosses, and master a moveset that combines classic action with faster modern touch.

A nostalgic experience that can also be played in vertical mode with touch controls to better match the '90s feeling!
