Wing Commander: Privateer

Privateer takes you to the seamy side of the Wing Commander universe. In the far reaches of space, you live by no man’s rules but your own. The fringes are populated by a volatile mix of pirates, miners, mercs and Kilrathi, all struggling to make a quick buck. With advanced technologies pioneered by Wing Commander and Strike Commander, Privateer gives you the excitement of direct space combat and the challenge of survival in the cutthroat trading circles on the frontiers of civilization.

• Customize your ship according to your needs and budget, modifying weapons, armor and other systems. Choose the sleek Centurion fighter, the Orion gunship, a trustworthy Galaxy-class merchant or stay with the decrepit Tarsus scout ship inherited from your grandfather.
• Choose the life of a pirate, merchant or mercenary. As long as you keep a couple of steps ahead of your enemies and a couple of bucks in the black, you’re a free agent.
• Explore a complete universe with more than 50 bases and planets in close to 70 systems. Adventure, trade and exploration are limitless, even after you’ve finished the main game.
• Rock to a pounding, dynamic soundtrack and hear realistic sound effects that bring Privateer to life.

It takes more than a pilot to win this game - it takes a Privateer!
