This is an indie game developed by a two man team, the game requires a subscription membership to access some of the content in the game. There is still many hours of free content and more free content is added with every update. We have chosen this path because we do not want to sell cosmetics or paid progression. We believe looking cool should come from your in game accomplishments, not from a credit card. More details of membership at the bottom of the description.

Winds of Valen is free to play with many hours of free content to enjoy. However, If you want to expand your journey, purchasing a membership pass grants account-wide access to members-only content, expanded bank storage, and a vote on future game updates. as shown below.
