Offworlders: Galactic Ventures

YOUR PILOT IS EXPENDABLE. YOUR COMPANY IS NOT.

Start with a ship, a debt to Cryos, and a company with everything to prove.

Offworlders: Galactic Ventures is a 2.5D space sandbox RPG where you fly the missions and build the business behind them. Mine asteroid belts, run freight, hunt bounties, or take your chances in the black market. Turn your earnings into better ships, a growing crew, and an operation that can outlive its founding pilot.

Cryos expects to be paid. How you earn your freedom is up to you.

One company. Many lives.

Pilots gain experience. Pilots make mistakes. Pilots die.

Your company carries on. Banked credits, stored equipment, company development, and surviving ships give the next pilot something to build on. Recruit a replacement, recover what you can, and get back to work.

A lost ship hurts. A lost pilot leaves a legacy. Neither has to be the end of your story.

A galaxy that doesn't revolve around you

Trade lanes carry freighters, escorts, independent captains, and people looking for an easy target. Station markets, industrial activity, and changing supply and demand create opportunities worth leaving the dock for.

Buy cargo where it is plentiful. Carry it where it is needed. Refine raw materials, recover valuable wreckage, and decide whether the next contract is worth the fuel, repairs, and risk.

Profit starts with a good plan. Keeping it means getting home.

Forge your own path

There is more than one way to make a living on the frontier.

• Mine and manufacture. Scan mineral seams, work your cutter, deploy field rigs, and turn recovered resources into industrial output.
• Trade and transport. Find profitable routes, pack your physical cargo hold, and take on freight and passenger work.
• Hunt and salvage. Pursue bounties, fight pirates, and recover the equipment and cargo left behind.
• Work outside the law. Move contraband, take backchannel jobs, and weigh the payout against the attention you attract.
• Explore and investigate. Follow signals, register discoveries, negotiate research rights, and pursue the frontier's mysteries.

Specialize in the work you enjoy, or keep your options open. Your company is yours to shape.

Build something that lasts

Acquire ships, fit weapons and equipment, choose your colours, and expand beyond a single hull. Recruit captains, dispatch them on routes, and reinvest in the facilities and resources that keep your company moving.

Take the helm or direct the mission. Fly hands-on in real-time Pilot mode, or resolve a route through Sim mode and make the decisions along the way. Both feed the same company and its continuing career.

Contracts build relationships. Backchannel work attracts scrutiny. Factions remember your standing, and Cryos keeps its own account. Choose who to work with, whose demands to resist, and how much risk your company can afford.

Some pilots will become legends. Others will leave a wreck for the next crew to find.

As long as your company survives, your adventure continues.
