Anything Goes Derby is a party game that mixes horse racing with a classic naming game: take turns naming things that fit a theme.

Give your racehorse any name you like that fits the theme, then send it out to race.

If the theme is "sushi toppings," will your runner be Tuna, Salmon, or the connoisseur's pick, Sea Urchin?

Play solo, take on strangers in Random Match, or get a group together: up to 8 people as horse owners, and up to 64 including spectators.

Speed, Stamina, Power, Guts, and Wits. Running style (Front, Stalker, Closer, or Late), distance aptitude, even coat color. Everything is decided by the name you give it, and the same name always makes the same horse.

Keep your favorite horses in the stable to build up their race records and bring them back for the next race.

Races play out automatically as a 3D simulation, with synthesized-voice commentary that reads the names you chose out loud. (The commentary voice is in Japanese, with English subtitles.)

Switch between multiple camera angles at any time and see how it ends: a wire-to-wire escape, a charge down the far outside, or a head-to-head duel all the way down the stretch.

Horse skins have no effect on race results.
